Embracing Change – A Better Way Every Day
At Ventura County Public Works Agency (VCPWA) our dedicated team of essential workers is on the front lines delivering innovative services to our community, responding effectively to emergencies and disasters, and making Ventura County one of the most desirable places to live.
As first responders, remaining adaptable allows us to provide sustainable services to improve and ensure projects for Ventura County’s unincorporated roads, watersheds, levees, infrastructures, water and sanitation facilities and billing services are efficient and operate cost-effectively.
VCPWA’s NPWW is going virtual for the very FIRST time!
National Public Works Week (NPWW), May 17-23, is our opportunity to bring positive attention and awareness to the multitude of ways in which we serve Ventura County!
While we are unable to bring over 1,000 students, teachers and families to tour our educational displays on May 19, we adapted and want to make one of Public Works most important educational events available to all.
The NPWW virtual event means that each of the 5 department’s Team Ambassadors have worked with their teams on videos, fun activity books and other materials to showcase the event’s favorite activities and demonstrations to showcase the latest innovations in technology and science at VCPWA.
