In early March, Ventura County Public Works Agency’s (VCPWA) current and future leadership members attended the Agency’s annual Executive Planning Session (EPS) to spotlight process improvement plans that are aligned with the agency’s vision. The EPS aims to assist in the development of new ways to improve the safety, health, and quality of life in Ventura County, with Lean Six Sigma in mind.
Taking place at the Saticoy Operations Yard, department leaders from the Central Services, Engineering Services, Transportation Department, Watershed Protection, and Water and Sanitation departments gave presentations outlining ways in which their department is increasing productivity, improving customer service, establishing accountability, and cultivating teamwork.
