POINT MUGU AIR SHOW TRAFFIC INFORMATION
TRAFFIC ALERT: The Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu will host their annual air show event this weekend. The Point Mugu Air Show is open to the public and offering 2-show dates for Saturday, March 18th and Sunday, March 19th. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will perform and are expected to attract 100,000 people per day. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. with parking, admission, and blanket seating are free. Several road closures will be in effect for the air show and it is recommended individuals traveling use the following access routes to avoid dead-end closures. Significant traffic impacts and delays are anticipated in and around the show area.
From Los Angeles / Northbound Highway 101
• Take the Las Posas Road exit and travel South 7 miles to Naval Base Ventura County
From Ventura / Southbound Highway 101
• Take the Rice Avenue exit and travel South to Pacific Coast Highway
• Take Pacific Coast Highway 3 miles and exit Wood Road
From Santa Monica / Northbound Pacific Coast Highway 1
• Take Pacific Coast Highway to the Wood Road exit
